Growing up in the residential and commercial appraisal world of real estate gave Charlene a great understanding of how the client wants a professional to understand the goals of their business and create conditions to make wise choices in selling or buying residential or commercial property to achieve their goal.  Working with the family business and receiving a degree in Business Administration and having over 20+ years working in banking, sales, manufacturing and non-profit industries, using the same approach of learning all aspects of business, made Charlene appreciate the companies she has worked for and created success in her business life.

Applying this superior mix of experience and education in both the residential and commercial real estate market gives her the unique advantage to relate to individuals and small business owners to help them navigate the changing world of real estate.

Getting her Commercial Business Broker certification in 2009 gave Charlene the knowledge and credentials to help her navigate the downward spiral in the real estate industry during that time finding unique ways to help private business sectors streamline and achieve their business goals. Charlene’s unique strategizing “outside the box philosophy” gives her the advantage over the competition.  Working with collaborative partners to navigate the hurdles creates conditions for positive results in real estate transactions and helps her prepare/react to the change that can accompany a transaction without losing sight of the client’s goals! 

Charlene Shockley’s understanding and patience with business transactions creates the balance needed to close your transaction!  Providing Integrity with Old Fashion Values holds credence to her efforts. Communication, whether spoken or nonverbal is key to maintaining control of the details. This follow up can create the upper hand on negotiations for her clients. The key to closing the transaction is maintaining balance between both sides. Charlene’s attention to the details lets everyone know she controls the balance! 

The balance holds true in Charlene’s business and personal time. Charlene finds time each business day to focus on building relationships with future clients, communicating to the proper personnel with current clients and projects, and reaching out to past clients to maintain those relationships. Charlene is involved with civic groups as the Marietta Business Association, West Cobb Business Association and various networking events in Metro Atlanta to support relationships to help her clients. In Charlene’s personal time, she has spent over 7 years supporting, volunteering and marketing Orchard Human Services Inc.
